Welcome and thank you for visiting The Foothill Theatre Workshop!

The Foothill Theatre Workshop is a summer program that provides fine arts enrichment in a comfortable non-competitive environment. The students participate in weekly rehearsals providing them with instruction in theater, music, acting, dancing, all leading to a full scale musical production! Join us today!

Meet Our Team

Brittany Freeth

Co-Director / Co-Choreographer 

Brittany Freeth has trained professionally in all areas of dance including ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, modern and hip-hop. She trained at Encore Dance Centre and attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and was trained by members of Alvin Ailey Company and Harlem Ballet. Brittany holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts as well as a Master of Arts in Management from Azusa Pacific University. Some of her major productions have been with Diavolo Dance Theatre, Performance Riverside and Vox Lumiere. Some Theater credits include: “West Side Story,” “The King and I” and the West Coast Regional premiere of “In The Heights.”  Film/TV/ Theatre credits include: Harold and Kumar Christmas, Ryan Murphy's "The Prom" on Netflix, ABC's General Hospital, Grey's Anatomy, CBS's NCIS, NCIS:LA, NCIS:Origins, Netflix’s Monsters, recurring on Fox's 911: Lone Star, Amazon Prime’s Original Countdown and the upcoming Apple TV’s Margo’s Got Money Trouble. She is represented by The Happen Agency and SK Management and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. 

Brittany has enjoyed working as a choreographer throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, as well as working alongside her husband in their production company, WolfDog Creative. She has been one of the resident directors and choreographers of Foothill Theatre Workshop for the last ten years and is dedicated to sharing her knowledge with the students of FTW.

Tory Freeth

Co-Director / Co-Choreographer 

Tory Freeth holds her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting for the Stage and Screen from Azusa Pacific University.  She graduated from Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a dance major, and trained at Encore Dance Centre for 15 years.  Her dance training includes ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, modern and hip-hop.  Tory is also a working actor based in Los Angeles, and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.  She is represented by Brady, Brannon & Rich Talent Agency and McGowan Rodriguez Management. Tory's TV/Film credits include recurring on NBC’s St. Denis Medical, MGM’s Crime 101 opposite Barry Keoghan, Hulu’s UnPrisoned, ABC's The Goldbergs, MGM’s Dog, and a recurring host for Disney 365.  She has done commercials for companies such as Wienerschnitzel, Apple, Grocery Outlet, Walmart, GrubHub, Cricket, Jack in the Box, and USAA.  Tory has served as a director and choreographer for Foothill Theatre Workshop for the past 7 years and loves to see the students grow as they refine their craft as storytellers!

Matthew Gilmore

Writer/Director - Jr. Show/Tech Director 

Matthew Gilmore holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts from Azusa Pacific University. His television credits include acclaimed series such as Happy's Place on NBC, Shrinking for AppleTV, Your Honor for Showtime, The Goldbergs for ABC, New Girl for FOX, and Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story for Netflix. He will next appear in Season 2 of Presumed Innocent.

 

Matthew is represented by The Happen Agency and SK Management and is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

In addition to his work as an actor, Matthew is a full-time graphic designer, photographer, and videographer, and is the founder of his own production company, WolfDog Creative. Since 2013, he has served as Director and Technical Director of Foothill Theatre Workshop, where he is passionate about mentoring students and helping them grow into their full potential.

Jordan Arana

Stage Manager

Jordan Arana is a seasoned alumnus of Foothill Theater Workshop. Having grown and began his theater experience in the program, he is proud and blessed to be part of the creative team and work alongside such incredible talent this summer. Jordan has been working as a Middle School Science teacher for the past two years at Water of Life Christian School and continues to enjoy encouraging students to grow in themselves and their talents. Past credits include: Neleus (Mary Poppins), Lt. Joseph Cable (South Pacific), Jinx (Forever Plaid), Tommy Djilas (The Music Man), Ensemble (Singin’ in the Rain), Vocalist (Sondheim on Sondheim).
